From elastic cleans and high headroom to saturated fuzz and lo-fi grit, it delivers the character that’s been embraced by bedroom pop artists and indie legends alike. Yes, it nails the Mk.Gee “thing,” but it also shines for tones inspired by D4vd, Steve Lacy, Mac DeMarco, Spoon, Radiohead, and more.

Faithfully recreating the original 424 MKI® circuit with authentic UPC4570 and NJM4565 op-amps, the pedal retains the Portastudio’s trim, channel, and master controls, plus bass and treble EQ. Use it as a DI via the balanced XLR output for gooey, vintage-style direct tones, or run it into your amp for a unique gain stage, colorful overdrive, or overloaded fuzz.
